The BAAC specifically helps local artists and arts organizations with grantmaking and technical assistance; exhibits the work of regional artists at the John Waldron Arts Center; offers art classes to the general public; and hosts performances in dance, music, and theater. The BAAC publishes a newsletter titled the Helicon.
