Scope and Content:

The Fenton mss., circa 1927-1969, consists of letters to Frank L. Fenton, professor of English at Stanford University and San Francisco State College. This particular group of letters describes at great length the literary, artistic, and social life of Santa Fe during 1930-1932. Four poems by Witter Bynner and fifteen by Robert N. Hunt are enclosed with or appended to several of the letters.
