Background
- Biographical / Historical:
Arpine Konyalian Grenier, 1943-, was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on 29 June 1943. She obtained both her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the American University of Beirut before moving to the United States in her twenties. She married Harry W. Grenier in Los Angeles, California, on 3 October 1969 and divorced him in 1973. She worked as a scientific researcher and a musician before beginning to write poetry and completed her M.F.A. in poetry writing at Bard College in the 1990s. Her publications include four books of poetry, literary translations, contributions to numerous literary journals, and papers both scientific and literary. Grenier lives in Los Angeles.

Atonement includes original poetry book manuscript divided into chapters; III. Striped Silk includes original poetry book manuscript; IV. Whores from Samarkand includes original poetry book manuscript, galley proofs, revision notes, cover design and sample, correspondence regarding the book, and advertising for the book; V. Part, Part Euphrates includes material related to the poetry collection; VI. The Concession Stand: Exaptation at the Margins includes material related to the poetry collection; VII. Other Poems includes miscellaneous poems, poems published online, poems published in Blaze Vox, manuscript synopses, and Grenier's middle school poetry journal from 1957; VIII.
