Biographical / Historical:

Raintree Press of Bloomington, Indiana was founded in 1975 by Fredric Aldwyn Brewer, 1921- , professor of telecommunications at Indiana University, and specializes in the printing of ephemera in which text, type face, paper, and design are combined to produce a unified effect. Several full-size books have also been published by Raintree Press, including The Log of the Carla Mia, W. Carl Jackson, Master, the printer's typescript and galleys of which are present here.
