Kathrin Razum, b. 1964, lives in Heidelberg as a free-lance editor and translator from the English. She is also editor of the German Translators Union newsletter.

The Razum mss., circa 1998-2003, consist of literary translations from English into German by Kathrin Razum.
Present in this collection are two drafts of the German translation of Mr. Clive and Mr. Page by Neil Bartlett; V.S. Naipaul's The Loss of El Dorado and Reading and Writing ; In the Forest and Wild Decembers by Edna O'Brien; and Losing Nelson by Barry Unsworth.
