- Biographical / Historical:
William Carlos Williams, 1883-1963, was an American playwright, essayist, novelist, medical doctor, and poet best known for his contributions to the Imagist movement.
- Scope and Content:
A number of letters mention John Connop Thirlwall, 1904- , and his research on Williams. The later correspondence includes letters between William Eric and Reed Whittemore, 1919- , concerning Whittemore's biography of William Carlos Williams.
