Darryl F. Zanuck, 1902-1979, was a film producer who began working during the silent era of film. He won Academy Awards for How Green Was My Valley, Gentleman's Agreement, and All About Eve.

The Zanuck mss. II, ca. 1954-1969, consist of a collection of letters by the Academy Award-winning film producer Darryl F. Zanuck to his wife Virginia Zanuck. The letters cover a period of time when Zanuck's relationship with his wife was beginning to falter and his attentions had already turned to a number of young actresses, in particular his relationship with Juliette Greco.
