- Biographical / Historical:
C. R. (Charles Ralph) Boxer, 1904-2000, was a historian of Dutch and Portuguese colonialism and maritime history, as well as a professor of history at Indiana University.
- Scope and Content:
Consists of offprints of articles, including book reviews, written by C. R. Boxer. The collection is from C. R. Boxer's library; many items include his annotations or corrections. Subjects include Portuguese in Asia, Portuguese in Brazil, Dutch in Asia, Dutch in Brazil, Macau, Catholic Church in Asia, João de Barros (1496-1570), and Antonio Vieira (1608-1697).

Items accessioned at a later date, including general offprints, organized chronologically (57 items), and book reviews, organized alphabetically (18 items).
