Serials include Ally Sloper's Comic Kalendar, Comic Almanack, Days' Doings, The Ferret, Fun (Lloyd's Weekly), Illustrated London Clipper, Illustrated Police News, New Comic Times, Police News Miscellany, Punch and Judy Penny Comic, and Sensation Magazine.

Monographs include The Fruits of Philosophy, National History and Views of London and Its Environs, The Poor Women of Paris, Social Purity, and Wicked London.

Subjects include the Boulton and Park trial, the Crawford Divorce, the Contagious Diseases Acts, Maria Monk, the Mordaunt Divorce, Mother Shipton's Prophecies, poems and music hall lyrics, and the Tichborne Claimant.
