The Woman's Christian Temperance Union was founded in 1874 and continues to operate in the 21st century. Though their main platform aims to spread sobriety through Christian teachings, other causes championed by the Union included women's suffrage, labor laws, and prison reform.

The collection consists of a scrapbook containing clippings, periodicals, correspondence, programs, and postcards pertaining to the plays and pageantry programs of the WCTU in Indiana.
