Background
- Biographical / Historical:
This collection began with posters from the 1966 and 1968 campaigns of Lee Hamilton and Birch Bayh of Indiana, respectively, given by Jerry G. Udell, to which additions are made as gifts are received.
- Scope and Content:
The collection consists of six large posters given by Jerry G. Udell, i.e. one from Lee Hamilton's 1966 campaign and five from Bayh's 1968 campaign, one of them advertising a birthday fund-raising extravaganza with Hollywood personalities; a poster from Birch Bayh's bid for the 1972 Presidential nomination, given by Frank Hoffmann; and the large portrait photograph of Lee Hamilton used on his campaign van in 1964, given by Wayne Vance.
