Background
- Biographical / Historical:
Born on 13 January 1929, Katherine Julia Lewis began her career as secretary to J.B. Blayton Jr. and Sr. and Community News Director at WERD radio in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1953. Following her time at WERD, Lewis managed the University Motel on the Northside of Atlanta. Lewis passed away in September 2010.
