Background
- Biographical / Historical:
Anthony Gomes was born in 1970 in Toronto, Canada. His debut release with the Anthony Gomes Band, Blues in Technicolor, was released in 1998. He released over a dozen more albums and toured Canada and the United States since his first release.
- Scope and Content:
The collection consists of three miniDV videocassettes and backup VHS videocassettes. The live performance was recorded on two of the three tapes by Andrew Funke. The Q&A session after the concert was recorded on the third videocassette.
- Acquisition information:
- The live concert was organized as a collaboration between the AAAMC and Indiana University professor Susan Oehler. The video recordings of the concert and Question and Answer session were deposited directly after the event in 1998.
