Scope and Content:

The collection contains press releases and administrative materials pertaining to the website Black Grooves. The materials were acquired by the AAAMC as accompanying documents to the CDs and DVDs submitted for review on the Black Grooves website. These materials were separated into this collection, while the CDs and DVDs they accompananied are now part of the AAAMC's general commerical CD and DVD collections.

Series 1 contains paper materials. Series 2 contains digital press releases and email correspondence.

The audio and video content these materials describe cover the entire scope of the AAAMC's collecting focus. To learn more about the types of audio and video, the Black Grooves review site can be browsed at https://blackgrooves.org.

RESTRICTIONS:

Use of time-based media materials (audio and video) may require production of listening or viewing copies.

Access to streaming audio, moving image, and full resolution digital image materials may currently be restricted to researchers who can authenticate with an IU account or who are physically present on campus. Remote streaming to individual researchers may be allowed with the completion of applicable forms.
