- Scope and Content:
Each series in the collection contains documents related to an audiovisual production produced by Donna Lawrence Productions. Series 1 contains materials related to "Music as Metaphor," including research and production materials, interviews, transcripts, publicity, and awards. The remaining series contain fewer materials for each respective production, but generally one or more of the same types of materials as Series 1.

- Series 1 (Music as Metaphor) deposited at the AAAMC by Donna Lawrence and Portia Maultsby in March 2001. Series 2 through 10 deposited by Donna Lawrence in March 2001.
