Background

Biographical / Historical:

Laurence R. Richter is an emeritus faculty member with the IU Department of Slavic and East European Language Studies. He taught at IU from 1974-2007. He also taught Russian language to opera students at the Jacobs School of Music. He received his M.A. from the University of Illinois in 1964.
