Heim, company chairman, founded the company in 1973 with twenty-three years of experience in public relations, in raising money, and in directing the fundraising program of the Ohio State University. In 1981, Rita A. Fuerst merged her marketing services firm with the Bill Heim Company. She acted successively as Vice President, President, and director of the company until 1996 when she took a seat on the Board of Directors.
