David Anspaugh (born 1946) is an award-winning producer and director, Indiana native, and alumnus of Indiana University Bloomington. He is perhaps best known for directing critically-acclaimed against-the-odds sports movies with Indiana settings - Hoosiers (1986), a Cinderella story about the state basketball tournament in the 1950's, and Rudy (1993), a true story about a walk-on player on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. This collection consists of production material, photographs, and correspondence related to Anspaugh's five-decade career in film, theater, and television, as well as 16mm films made by Anspaugh as an undergraduate at IU Bloomington.
