The Adams, R. mss., 1968-1984, collection consists of the papers of publishing firm Rex Collings Ltd. relating to the publication of several novels, primarily Watership Down (1972), by author Richard Adams, 1920-2016.

The Allen, W. H. mss., 1973-1989, consist of the correspondence and papers of publisher W. H. Allen in relation to author Alan Sillitoe.

The ALMA mss., 1961-1964, consists of the correspondence and papers of the Association of Literary Magazines of America, founded in 1961.

The Anderson mss., 1967-2004, consist of the correspondence, catalogs, and ephemera of Frank John Anderson related to private press publishing, miniature books, and book collecting.

The Antioch mss., 1963-1965, consists of poetry and articles for publication in Antioch Review of Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio.

The Appleton-Century mss., 1846-1962, consists of the office files of the publishing company, its two predecessors, D. Appleton & Co., and the Century Co., and to a small extent its successor, Appleton-Century Crofts, Inc.

The Archipelago Books mss., 1981-2016, consists of the records of Archipelago Books, founded by Jill Schoolman in 2003.

The Ayelsford mss., 1941-1968, consists primarily of correspondence, articles, photographs, and miscellaneous material collected by friar Father Brocard Sewell, 1912-2000, during the years he edited The Aylesford Review, a literary quarterly sponsored by the British Carmelites, 1955-1968.

The Berwald mss., 1890-1925, consists of original artwork for German book covers by book illustrator Ludwig Berwald, 1865-.

The Bird, W. mss., 1923-1963, consists of the correspondence of Three Mountains Press publisher William Augustus Bird, 1888-1963.

The Blair, E. mss., 1935-1945, consists of letters of novelist Eric Arthur Blair, 1903-1950, better known by the pseudonym "George Orwell," to his literary agent, Leonard Parker Moore, 1876-1959.

The Bobbs-Merrill mss., 1885-1983, consists of the records of book publisher Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc., located in Indianapolis, IN.

The Bobbs-Merrill mss. III, 1952-1984, consist of brochures, catalogs, and promotional materials for Bobbs-Merill publishers.

The Boni mss., 1926-1939, consists of the correspondence of author Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, with publishers Albert Boni, 1892-1981, and Charles Boni, 1894-1969.

The Borregaard mss., 1961-1965, consists of the papers of Ebbe Borregaard, 1933-, publisher of Oannes Press in San Francisco, California.

Consists primarily of the papers of the British publishing firm of Calder & Boyars Ltd. Also included are the papers of its predecessor John Calder (Publishers) and the personal papers of John Calder, 1927- . A few personal papers of Marion Boyars, 1928-1999, are also present.

The Capra Press mss., 1955-2010 , contain the correspondence, book production materials, manuscripts, galleys, printing records, and cost sheets of printer/publisher Noel Young of Santa Barbara, California.

The Colfax mss., 1853-1884, consists of the papers of South Bend, Indiana, newspaperman, speaker of the House of Representatives, and vice-president of the United States Schuyler Colfax, 1823-1885.

The Conrad mss., 1886-1983, consists of the papers of novelist Joseph Conrad, 1857-1924.

The Cooper mss., 1921-1935, consists of the papers of newspaperman Kent Cooper, 1880-1965, including correspondence of Kent Cooper chiefly with journalists, releases for newspapers, and newspaper clippings.

The Corrigan mss., 1888-1941, consists of letters to publisher James William Corrigan, 1867?-1948, relating primarily to publishing matters in Great Britain and the United States.

The David mss., circa 1996–2005, consists of the papers of professor Alfred David, 1929-2014.

The Dodd, Mead mss., 1855-1992, consists of the author/translator agreements, correspondence, and copyright statements of publisher Dodd, Mead & Company.

The Gaither mss., 1955-1986 consists of correspondence and writings of Mary Elizabeth Gaither (1917-2018) relating primarily to work on Leonard and Virginia Woolf and on the publications of their Hogarth Press. Additions to the collection include receipts and invoices, 1961-1969, for the purchase of Hogarth Press books.

The Hahn-Brandt mss., 1935-1983, consists of New York literary agency Brandt & Brandt office files concerning American author and journalist Emily Hahn, 1905-1997.

The Haldeman mss., 1948-1960, consists of files from Haldeman-Julius Publications of Girard, Kansas, containing correspondence with and book sales records of writer Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Haldeman mss. II, 1908-1951, consists of correspondence of writers and editors, including Emanuel Haldeman-Julius, 1889-1951, who were connected to Haldeman-Julius Publications.

The Haldeman mss. III, 1915-1918, consists primarily of correspondence of Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, novelist, and Appeal to Reason staff members Louis Kopelin, 1887-1949, and Walter H. Wayland, 1884-1980.

The Hitt mss., 1891-1938, consists primarily of letters from poet James Whitcomb Riley, 1849-1916, to journalist George Cooper Hitt, 1851-1944. George C. Hitt & Co. published Riley's first book, The Old Swimmin'-hole and'Leven More Poems, in 1883.

The Hoggard mss., 1961-2021, consist of the papers of poet, author, and translator James Hoggard (1941-2021).

The Horton mss., 1947-1964, consist of correspondence, news and magazine articles, academic writings, legal and financial documents of lawyer and publisher David Horton with Dorothy Shakespear Pound and Ezra Loomis Pound.

The Indiana University Press mss., 1948-1959, consists of correspondence relating to the publication of books and the manuscript of one book published by the Press.

The Irving mss, 1966-2012, consist of manuscripts, typescripts, and material of novelist and screenwriter John Irving (b. 1942), as well as correspondence and printed matter relating to his career.
