The Lilly Library is the rare books, manuscripts, and special collections library of the Indiana University Libraries, Bloomington. Its collections represent a diversity of subjects, including literature; children’s literature; history; folklore; science; radio, film and television; book collecting and bookselling; journalism; and translation.
The Pyle mss. III, 1932-1945, consists primarily of scrapbooks, newspaper and wire copies of columns, and photographs of, or related to, journalist Ernest Taylor Pyle, 1900-1945.
The Pyle mss. V, 1994, consist mostly of annotated excerpts from interviews by James Tobin with relatives and acquaintances of journalist Ernie Pyle, 1900-1945.
The Pyle mss. VI, ca. 1923–1954, consist of papers concerning journalist Ernest Taylor Pyle, 1900–1945, Clarence E. Edmondson and Edna Hatfield Edmondson.
