The American literature mss., 1789-2000, consists of an ongoing collection of individual items related to American literature.

This collection consists of items honoring the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It includes over 250 funeral and memorial orations. Also includes likenesses, caricatures, and memorabilia of Lincoln and his contemporaries plus newspapers of the Civil War period.

The Parry mss., 1943-1945, consist of letters sent to William Benjamin Parry while serving aboard H.M.S. Ruler during World War II.

The Forrest, R. E. mss., 1883-1937, consist of the correspondence of author Robert Edward Forrest and his wife, Mary Evangeline (Wild) Forrest, about his writings, as well as related clippings and ephemera.

Consists of individual items acquired separately either as a gift, purchase, transfer, or removal from a variety of sources, relating to English literature. Additions continue to be made.

The India mss., 1757-1947, consist of letters, writings, business, and other documents relating to India, accumlated from various sources by Glenn Horowitz.

The Verdi mss. consists of a portrait of composer Giuseppe Verdi painted on a wooden panel.

Consists of the columns, newsletters, and press releases of the Press Department, its operating files, topical files, and files of clippings gathered by clipping services, staff, and supporters

The Bloomington Garden Club mss., 1938-2016, consists of the papers, minutes of meetings, scrapbooks, and photograph albums relating to the activities of the Bloomington Garden Club, especially the annual Garden Walk.

The Bowen mss., 1932-1938, consists of the correspondence of research worker Kathleen Bowen with businessman George Alexander Ball, 1862-1955, and naval historian Sir Geoffrey Arthur Romaine Callender, 1875-1946.
