The Whitehouse, F. mss, 1848-1938, consist of architectural renderings, photographs, scratch board sketches, and pen & ink sketches of works produced by noted Chicago architect, Francis M. Whitehouse.

The White mss., 1932-1969, consists of the correspondence, writings, and memorabilia of critic, editor, and writer William Anthony Parker (W.A.P.) White, 1911-1968.

This collection of interviews primarily delves into the Republican view of Indiana politics from the nineteen twenties to the early nineteen sixties. Major emphasis is placed on both state and national elections and conventions from 1940-1948. The project contains discussions of political campaigns (including finances), the patronage system, and legislation battles. The interviews also reflect on William Jenner by describing his character, beliefs, and influence on Republican politics in Indiana.

The Whiting mss., 1953, consist of the drafts of The Gates of Summer by John Robert Whiting, 1917-1963, playwright.

The Whitman mss., 1846-1878, consist of correspondence of Mrs. Sarah Helen (Power) Whitman, 1803-1878.

The Whitman, Sidney Edgerton mss., 1912-1977, consist of correspondence, typescripts, and other material related to the writings of author Sidney Edgerton Whitman.

The Whitman, Walt mss., 1864-1960, consist of correspondence, publications, and material about and related to Walt Whitman.

The Wigglesworth mss., 1656-1762, consist of the letters and autobiography of Michael Wigglesworth, 1631-1705, clergyman.

The Wiggs mss., 1874-1936, are the papers of George Washington Wiggs, 1853-1938, grain dealer on the Chicago Board of Trade, member of the Press Club of Chicago, and an Indiana University graduate of 1874.
