The Binkley, Raglind mss., 1450-1842, consist of medieval fragments collected by lutenist Thomas Binkley, 1931-1995, and his wife, Raglind Herrel Binkley, 1940-.

The Melcher mss., 1913-1957, consist of correspondence of Nicholas Vachel Lindsay, 1879-1931, poet, his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Conner) Lindsay, 1901-1954, and his sister, Mrs. Olive (Lindsay) Wakefield, with Frederic Gershom Melcher, 1879-1963, editor, and his wife, Mrs. Marguerite (Fellows) Melcher. A few other letters and papers relating to Nicholas Vachel Lindsay are included.

The Forker, Charles R. mss., ca. 1906-2014, consists of the papers of Charles R. Forker and his collection of microfilms and images.

The Scribner Family mss., 1813-1940, consists of correspondence, photographs, and memorabilia of the family of Abner Scribner, 1789-1827.

The Bleiler mss., 1965-1967, consists of reel-to-reel recordings of "Golden Voices," a Berkeley, California, radio program by William Anthony Parker White, a.k.a. Anthony Boucher, 1911-1968.

The Hadley, E. mss., 1861-1888, consists of letters written during and after the Civil War to Indiana farmer Enos Hadley, 1825-1893.

The Hughes, R. mss. II consists of galleys and illustrations, ca. 1966, relating to Gertrude's Child by Richard Hughes.

Consists of a collection formed by Professor Breon Mitchell of first and early editions of bi–lingual dictionaries of languages throughout the world, including the languages of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific Rim.

This collection consists of commercial, agricultural, and medical materials belonging to William Adolphus Ashton (1803-1870), who tried to establish a co-operative community in Franklin County, Indiana in 1834.

The Miller, C. L. mss. (1951-1994) consist primarily of correspondence, articles, drafts, and manuscripts of journalist and author Catherine Lanham Miller.

The Wroth mss., 1961-1967 and 1969, are letters to William Henry Wroth, 1938- , co-editor then living in Eugene, Oregon, of The Northwest Review.

The Corbacho/Pezet mss., circa 1853-1946, consists of manuscripts, correspondence, photos and related ephemeral material covering a variety of topics, with a significant emphasis on U.S.-Peruvian relations from 1853-1929, as well as important diplomatic letters relative to the War of the Pacific (1879-1884).

The Moody, Carol mss, ca. 1945-1951, documents the creation and work of Quizdown, a highly popular and successful radio show which was also shown on television.

The Fletcher mss., circa 1965, consists of papers assembled by Ifan Kyrle Fletcher, 1905–1969, toward a study of suspect (i.e. forged) printed playbills, mainly featuring David Garrick's performances.

The Fowles/Cavafy mss., circa 1975-1996, consists of various pieces of ephemera, typed letters signed from Herbert S. Bailey, Director, Princeton University Press, and Edmund Keeley, to John Fowles, an autographed post card signed Bill Webb to Fowles, and photos.

The Scottish mss., 1500-1707, consists of materials concerned with the genealogies, history, letters, and writings of Scotland.

The Sinclair mss. VI, 1907-1977, consists of correspondence, writings, and miscellaneous papers by and relating to author Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, his wife Mary Craig (Kimbrough) Sinclair, 1882-1961, and his son David Sinclair, 1901-1987.

The Sinclair mss. VII, 1923-1963, consists of letters and manuscripts by or about writer Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Sinclair mss. III, 1903-1904, consists of letters from novelist Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Sinclair mss. V, 1902, consists of the application of novelist Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, for a fellowship in the Graduate School of Harvard University for the year 1902-1903.

The Singer, D. mss., 1948-1965, consist of letters and notes to, from, and about author Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, collected by educator Donald Lee Singer, 1936-.

The Woodburn mss., 1795-1942, consist of letters and papers of four generations of the Woodburn family, James Woodburn, 1748-1812, farmer; Dorrance Beatty Woodburn, 1786- 1856, farmer and teacher; James Woodburn, 1817-1865, teacher; and James Albert Woodburn, 1856-1943, historian.

The Washington Territory Infantry mss., 1861-1866, consists of positive photostats of muster rolls, the originals of which are in the files of the U.S. War Department.

The Lafayette mss. IV, 1825-1860, consist of two letters. One is written by the Marquis de Lafayette, Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, 1757-1834, general, to Elisha Ely. The second is written by John F. Ely to John Stoner Ely regarding the Marquis de Lafayette's travel plans.

The Ford, J. mss. III, ca. 1958-1970, consist of individual items acquired from time to time either as a gift or purchased from a variety of sources.

The Bush, Peter mss., 2000-2009, consists of the translations, writings, correspondence and professional papers of translator and writer Peter Bush.

The Latin American mss.--Miscellaneous 1536-1957 consists of miscellaneous documents from various Latin American countries, compiled from the other Latin American mss., including correspondence, goverment documents, literature, photographs, and other documents.

This collection consists of t-shirts, lunchboxes, statues of comic book characters, a model car, and a jigsaw puzzle, all collected by Michael E. Uslan.

The Faulkner, Fritz mss., 1932-1942, consists of the manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, and audio/visual materials of writer and bookseller Fritz Faulkner.

J. Gus Liebenow was a professor emeritus of political science at Indiana University. Starting his tenure in 1958, Liebenow also served as the dean for Research and Advanced Studies as well as vice president and dean of Academic Affairs. In 1961, he also found the University's African Studies Program. This collections consists of lecture notes, personal files, department records, Liebenow's writings, and materials from numerous organizations he was affiliated with.

Dorith Minna Ofri-Scheps (1930-2015), known as "Jɛbɛ" to the Vai people, was a linguist and scholar of the Vai language and culture. Her dissertation, "On the Object of ethnology: a propos of the Vai culture of Liberia 1963-88" was submitted and defended in 1991, at the University of Bern, after the outbreak of the First Liberian Civil War had interrupted her field research.Her correspondence covers many aspects of Vai language and culture, touching on the cumulative work of August Klingenheben, Bai Tamia Moore, Gail Stewart, Jangaba Johnson, C. K. Kandakai, and many others. Her research drew on interviews with Mɔmɔlu Cole, and her assistants included Morris Davies, who died in the war, Fatu Kiazolu, and in later life Poppy Willard.

The I Association (formerly I-Men Association (1913-2006) and I-Women Association (1982-2006)) honors exceptional athletes at Indiana University Bloomington. This collection contains files about I Association alumni events and event planning, Board of Directors meeting information, I Association membership, and email, letter, and memo correspondence between I Association staff and alumni.

The Wendell L. Willkie Quadrangle opened in the fall of 1964 as a residence hall for men and women, and was rededicated as the Willkie Residence Center in 2000. This collection contains four scrapbooks that were compiled by staff of the Willkie Quadrangle residence hall between 1968 and 1981. The scrapbooks contain photographs, newspaper clippings, event pamphlets, and other materials that document staff and resident events during their respective time periods. In addition, the collection contains loose photographs of Willkie staff and leadership teams from 2004-2007, as well as loose newspaper clippings and other materials documenting Willkie residents and staff from the late 1960s to the early 1980s.

Class scraps at Indiana University were a series of violent events in which the students of opposing classes competed in physical challenges such as capture the flag or general brawls or fist fights. This collection includes broadsides, often mocking and vulgar, printed in advance of the competitions.

The Jeanette Carter Papers spans the dates 1928-2014. Renowned anthropologist on West Africa and women, this collections includes her research on women in Liberia and the Gambia, personal accounts of the Liberian Civil War, her field notes, research on ethnic groups, and extensive reports, publications and news articles on Liberia.

The Svend Holsoe Collection: Vai Materials contains information about the Vai, both the ethnic group and language of Liberia and South-Eastern Sierra Leone. Included is Holsoe's dissertation, research, photocopied 19th century documents on the region, people, and language, as well as reference materials and writing samples of the unique Vai script.

Bai T. Moore was a renowned poet and author whose work was greatly influenced by his experiences growing up in Liberia. In addition to Moore's career as a writer, he served as a government official for several years, first as Chief of the Liberian Bureau of Agriculture, and later, as Deputy Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism. This collection consists of government papers, ethnographic materials, published works, manuscripts, and drafts of his writings.

This collection is comprised of audio recordings and transcripts of oral history interviews conducted for the 50th and 60th anniversaries of the IU Kokomo campus, as well as interviews of Kokomo campus faculty, staff, and alumni conducted as part of the Indiana University Bicentennial Oral History Project.
