Elisabeth Brochmann (1858-1915) was a Norwegian literary translator best known for her translations of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The Brochmann, Elisabeth mss., circa 1910-1917, consist of letters and related material addressed to Norwegian literary translator Elisabeth Brochmann (1858-1915), best known for her translations of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Authors represented include F. Anstey, Edwin L. Arnold, Claude Askew, Hugo Bertsch, C.H. Firth, Beatrice Harraden, Anthony Hope Hopkins, E.C. Heath Hosken, Edgar Jepson, Jerome K. Jerome, Maarten Maartens, John Morley, Edith Nesbit, Owen Oliver, and Morley Roberts. In each case the author is responding to a request from Brochmann for permission to translate one of his works into Norwegian.
