Biographical / Historical:

Dale Messick, 1906-2005, was a cartoonist and author of the Brenda Starr, Reporter comic strip from South Bend, Indiana.

Scope and Content:

The 1956 strips contain the stories of Prince Raymond and the case of the Andrews twins. The 1961 panels include stories of Elizabeth Cleaver, No-No Night's double, and the beginning of the Alloy P. Steele episode.

Each panel is dated with the month and day of its appearance in print.
