Newell Convers Wyeth, 1882-1945, was a realist painter, illustrator, and student of artist Howard Pyle.

The Wyeth mss., 1908-1945, are letters from Newell Convers Wyeth, 1882-1945, painter, to Robert Bridges, 1858-1941, editor; Joseph Hawley Chapin, 1869-1939, art editor; Maxwell Evarts Perkins, 1884-1947, editor; Arthur Hawley Scribner, 1859-1932, publisher; Charles Scribner, 1890-1952, publisher; and Stewart Edward White, 1873-1946, author. All but two of the letters are photocopies made from the originals in the Princeton University Library, Princeton, New Jersey.
