Biographical / Historical:

Philip Kimball, 1941-2014, was an American novelist, poet, professor, and translator known for his novels Harvesting Ballads and Liar's Moon. Kimball received a Fulbright to study at the University of Heidelberg, was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at UC Berkeley, and graduate student at Stanford University. His works deal with the West and Great Plains, touching on themes of nostalgia and myths.

Box 1 contains draft 1, which is divided into 5 by the date by which they were finished. Box 2 contains draft 2, which is divided into 6 parts.
