Scope and Content:

This collection consists of letters, writings, business, and other documents, most of them British, relating to India, accumulated from disparate sources by bookseller Glenn Horowitz. Most items are in English, and the topics covered represent a wide variety of colonial activities including governance, trade, missionary work, and education. Many items have additional item-level description taken directly from the various booksellers' descriptions (which can be found by clicking "More Details" or by viewing the finding aid in Printable View).

A partial list of bound volumes received from Glenn Horowitz is also represented in the inventory of this finding aid, though for more robust information on items with call numbers, please see individual catalogue records in IUCAT.
