Lockridge mss. III, circa 1837-2000, consists of the correspondence, unpublished manuscripts, photos, papers, and audio tapes pertaining to the life and work of author Ross Lockridge, Jr., 1914-1948, and the Lockridge family.

The Indiana University Press mss. II, ca. 1950-1969, consists of the office and correspondence files of the press from its establishment in 1950.

The Indiana University Press mss., 1948-1959, consists of correspondence relating to the publication of books and the manuscript of one book published by the Press.

The Lockridge mss. II, 1941-1975, consists primarily of correspondence from author Ross Franklin Lockridge, Jr., 1914-1948, to various individuals. The Lilly Library acquired these letters to complement the manuscript files for Lockridge's book, Raintree County. Many of the letters discuss the success of Raintree County as well as Lockridge's untimely death.

The Lockridge mss., 1941-1947, consists of the writings of author Ross Franklin Lockridge, Jr., 1914-1948, including the manuscripts of The Dream of the Flesh of Iron and Raintree County.

The Lilly Correspondence mss., 1919-1954, consists of the correspondence of Josiah Kirby Lilly, Jr., 1893-1966, corporation executive of the Lilly Pharmaceutical Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, with bookdealers and individuals concerning the purchase of books, manuscripts, portraits, and prints. This correspondence reveals J.K. Lilly's many interests, among these Edgar Allan Poe and James Whitcomb Riley, the construction and equipment of Eaglecrest Libray at his home, and his membership in the Grolier Club.

The Piercy mss., 1911-1942 (mainly 1925-1929), are letters from English and American authors to Josephine Ketcham Piercy, 1895- , teacher of English at the University of Illinois and Indiana University.
