The Lilly Library is the rare books, manuscripts, and special collections library of the Indiana University Libraries, Bloomington. Its collections represent a diversity of subjects, including literature; children’s literature; history; folklore; science; radio, film and television; book collecting and bookselling; journalism; and translation.
The Grisell mss., 1942-1990, consists of letters from and clippings relating to author Ross Franklin Lockridge, 1914-1948, gathered by his friend, surgeon Ted Grisell, 1916-2004.
The Eastman mss. III, ca. 1936, consist of a substantially complete annotated typescript and three partial earlier carbon drafts of Max Eastman's book The Enjoyment of Laughter.
