Lockridge mss. III, circa 1837-2000, consists of the correspondence, unpublished manuscripts, photos, papers, and audio tapes pertaining to the life and work of author Ross Lockridge, Jr., 1914-1948, and the Lockridge family.

The Wolverton mss., 20th century, consist of three unpublished novels by Indiana author Ethel Traugh Wolverton, 1890-?.

The Lilly Correspondence mss., 1919-1954, consists of the correspondence of Josiah Kirby Lilly, Jr., 1893-1966, corporation executive of the Lilly Pharmaceutical Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, with bookdealers and individuals concerning the purchase of books, manuscripts, portraits, and prints. This correspondence reveals J.K. Lilly's many interests, among these Edgar Allan Poe and James Whitcomb Riley, the construction and equipment of Eaglecrest Libray at his home, and his membership in the Grolier Club.

Consists of the papers of Mrs. Virginia (Scott) Miner (Mrs. Dewey Hobson Miner), 1901-1982, poet.

The Chapman Mss., 1913-1922 and 1933, consists of the correspondence with and relating to Indian author Charles Edmonds Walk, 1875-, from the office file of president of the International Press Bureau, Chicago, Illinois William Gerard Chapman, 1877-1945.

The Adams mss., 1912-1981, consists of the letters, photographs, and writings by and about author Booth Tarkington, 1869-1946, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Kennebunkport, Maine. The collection was compiled by Reily Gibson Adams, 1911-1982, whose first wife, Mary Stewart Haines, 1912-1975, was Tarkington's first cousin twice removed.

The Piercy mss., 1911-1942 (mainly 1925-1929), are letters from English and American authors to Josephine Ketcham Piercy, 1895- , teacher of English at the University of Illinois and Indiana University.

The Clark mss., 1909-1957, consists of the letters and writings of author, editor, and publisher Thomas Curtis Clark, 1877-1953, as well as the autographs and poems of other writers collected by him.

The McCoy mss., 1909-1956 (principally 1949-1956), consist largely of the correspondence of Samuel Duff McCoy, 1882-1964, journalist and author, with David Laurence Chambers, president of Bobbs-Merrill Company, publishers of Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Bridges mss., 1907-1922, consist of correspondence of Meredith Nicholson, 1866-1947, author, principally with Robert Bridges, 1858-1941, editor of Scribner's magazine.
