The Colorado-Sinclair mss. consists of letters exchanged between author, Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968, and University of Colorado Director of Libraries Eugene Holt Wilson, 1909-?, Boulder, Colorado, August 25-October 31, 1950.

The Ramsay mss. 1917–1919, consists of the postcard correspondence, diary, and military papers of David H. Ramsay (1896–) during his enlistment in the army and service in Europe during World War I, 1917-1919.

The Clemens, S.L. mss., 1867-1944, consists of correspondence and other materials of Samuel L. Clemens, better known as the author Mark Twain.

The Quinn mss., 1896-1930, contains the correspondence of dramatist John Millington Synge, 1871-1909; the final draft of his play, The Playboy of the Western World; and the writings of other authors, chiefly Amory Hare, 1885-1964.

The Cauger, Richard E. mss., ca. 1923-1997, consists of the research notes and note cards, slides, documents, articles, books, correspondence and the long draft typescript manuscript (missing pages 495-518) of a planned biography of Mary Donovan Hapgood written by Cauger. Also included are copies of Mary Hapgood materials held by the Lilly Library.

The Rappaport mss., 1940-1990, consists of the papers of television and motion picture writer John H. Rappaport, 1940-.

The Randall House mss., 1975-2013, consists of the business records and correspondence of the San Francisco bookselling firm Randall and Windle and of its successor Randall House.

The Randall mss., 1910-1975, consists of the papers of bookman and first Lilly Librarian David Anton Randall, 1905-1975.

The Rainer mss., 1948-1971, consists of the correspondence, writings, and memorabilia of author and poet Dachine Rainer, 1921-2000.

The Rago mss. III, 1931-1974, consists of the papers of poet and editor of Poetry, Henry Rago, 1915-1969.
