The Hlavatý mss. II, 1942-1969, contains the correspondence, writings, speeches, and printed materials of mathematician and Indiana University Bloomington mathematics professor Václav Hlavatý, 1894-1969.

The Holman mss., 1822-1894, consist of the papers and correspondence of Richard Henry Holman, 1817-1841, lawyer, written chiefly during his attendance at Indiana College at Bloomington; of his father, Jesse Lynch Holman, 1784-1842, judge; and of his brother-in-law, Allen Hamilton, 1798-1864, Indiana state legislator, largely concerned with land speculation and payments.

The Hoosier State Press Association mss., 1933-1984, consist of background materials for the HSPA, as well as drafts of legislation by HSPA general counsel Richard Cardwell and issues of public debate.

The Hughes mss., 1833-1888, are legal papers of the law firm of Hughes, Denver and Peck, Washington, D.C., largely consisting of Confederate and Native American claims before the U.S. Court of Claims.

The Hurt mss., 1933-2002, consist of scrapbooks relating to the political, legal, and military careers of attorney John E. Hurt.

The Hustad, Thomas mss., 1976-2014, consists of the correspondence, Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) conference proceedings and notes, proceedings and reports of PDMA activities and journals.

The Indiana University Library mss., 1937-1981, consists of the files of Bernard Campbell Gavit, 1893-1954, relating to his tenure as chairman of the Indiana University Library Committee, 1937-1942; the administrative files of former IU Bloomington Librarian Cecil Kash Byrd, 1913-1997; the administrative files of former IU Libraries Librarian Robert Alexander Miller, 1907-1989; and the administrative files, 1969-1981, of former assistant director for collection development, Wilmer Baatz, 1915-1991.

The Indiana University Press mss., 1948-1959, consists of correspondence relating to the publication of books and the manuscript of one book published by the Press.

The Indiana University Press mss. II, ca. 1950-1969, consists of the office and correspondence files of the press from its establishment in 1950.

The IU Libraries Media Center mss., 1967-1972, consists of correspondence related to the acquisition of copies of Library of Congress tapes of poets reading their own works for use in the Listening Room and the Language Laboratory of Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana.
