Myles Brand (1942-2009) was a philosopher and academic administrator who served as the sixteenth president of Indiana University (IU) from 1994 to 2002. Following his appointment at IU, Brand served as the sixth president of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) from 2003 until his death in 2009.
