The Byrnes mss., 1856-1904, consists of papers collected by Robert Francis Byrnes, 1917-1997, historian, for his book Pobedonost͡sev, Bloomington, London, Indiana University Press, 1968, consisting of correspondence of Konstantin Petrovich Pobedonost͡sev, 1827-1907, statesman.

The Eastman mss. II, 1869-1981, consist of the correspondence, writings, personal papers, and photographs of Max Eastman, 1883-1969.

The Eastman mss. IV, 1890-2009, consist of the photographs, correspondence, personal papers, writings, and artwork of Max Eastman, 1883-1969; Yvette Szekely Eastman, 1912-2014; and Eliena Krylenko Eastman, 1895-1956.

The Sinclair mss., 1814-1968, consists of the correspondence, writings, and miscellaneous papers of author Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Slavic mss., 1817-1947, consists of letters and documents of Russian and Czech political and literary figures, including Russian author Ivan Alekseevich Bunin, 1870-1953, and Czech politicians Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, 1850-1937, and Jan Garrigue Masaryk, 1886-1948.
