The Eshleman mss., 1960-1965, are drafts of Mexico & North and The Gateway by Clayton Eshleman, 1935- , poet, and his translation of Residence in the Earth by Pablo Neruda.

The Eshleman mss. II, 1953-1973, are the writings of poet Clayton Eshleman, 1935- , given by him to Black Sparrow Press publisher John Martin during the early 1970's.
