Early 20th century opera librettos and complete/partial performance programs donated to the Cook Music Library by Cary Herz in 2006. Includes 42 librettos (some including pages from performance programs) and one full performance program from the Vienna Opera.

This collection consists of materials smuggled out of the Soviet Union and donated by Fedor (Feddy) Lavrov--all materials relating to his Punk rock music production studio, Begemotion Records. This collection includes physical and digitized recordings, photographs, promotional materials, lyric sheets, and album art relating to the music he produced, performed, and composed with various Soviet punk rock musicians and punk rock bands in 1980s Soviet Union, Leningrad.

Materials include scores, monographs, course materials, and papers from the collection of Julius Herford, a choral conductor, teacher, and member of the faculty at Indiana University active during the mid-20th century.

Materials collected from the composition studio of Leonard Bernstein, a conductor, composer, and musician active during the mid-20th century. The collection includes recordings, books, scores, awards, artwork, clothing, furniture, and other artifacts pertaining to his professional and personal life.

Materials of composer, conductor, musicologist, and professor at Indiana University, Walter Kaufmann (1907-1984). Contains original manuscripts (scores and parts), as well as copies of manuscripts, working drafts and sketches, published editions, and reel-to-reel sound recordings of Kaufmann's compositions. Materials also include notes and drafts of lectures, articles, and books written by Kaufmann, as well as some of his published writings. Other materials include lecture papers by students, correspondence, concert programs and reviews, photographs, and monographs about the musics of Asia that were the subjects of much of his research.
