The Davray mss., 1896-1936, consists primarily of letters from British author Sir Edmund William Gosse, 1849-1928, to the French writer and translator, Henry-Durand Davray, 1873-1944.

The Duncan mss., 1960, consists of a holograph draft of eighty-two pages and a typed carbon copy of seventy-one pages of Abelard and Heloise (1961) by author Ronald Duncan, 1914-1982.

The Henty mss., 1868-1952, consist of materials collected by Peter Martin, 1907- , of the editorial staff of the Saturday Evening Post, for a projected life of George Alfred Henty, 1832-1902, journalist and writer of stories for boys.

The Hughes, R. mss. II consists of galleys and illustrations, ca. 1966, relating to Gertrude's Child by Richard Hughes.

The Hunt, V. mss., circa 1934, are the letters of Violet Hunt, 1862-1942, novelist, concerning her proposed biography of Charles Augustus Howell.

The Nordloh mss. consist of over 100 American and English letters, postcards, autographs, and notes spanning the years 1792-1947.

The Norman mss. II, 1943-1970, consist of the correspondence and writings of Frank Norman, 1930-1980, British playwright and novelist best known for his memoirs of the London orphanage and prison system.

The Norman mss. III, ca. 1958–1983, consist of scripts, music scores, manuscript fragments, proofs, publications, photographs, and programs of plays of the work of Frank Norman, including materials relating to Fings Ain't Wot The Used T'be, Bang to Rights, and Dodgem Greaser.

The O'Brian mss. II, ca. 1930-1941, consists of the letters, writings, and clippings of author Patrick O'Brian, 1914-2000, written under his original name, R. P. (Richard Patrick) Russ.

The Oldfield mss., 1930-1938, consist of letters of Claude Houghton Oldfield, 1889-1961, novelist, to friends and acquaintances about his books and of a few undated manuscripts of his short stories.
