The Weeks mss., 1862-1879, consists of the correspondence and papers of soldier William C. Weeks, 1839-1893, and his brother, army officer Harrison Samuel Weeks, 1844-1892.

Arthur M. Weimer served in various capacities at Indiana University, beginning with his initial hiring as professor in the School of Business in 1937. He ascended quickly, serving as Dean of the Indiana University School of Business from 1939-1963, a seminal period in the school's fundamental development into a national leader and academic model for business education. Weimer was active in numerous professional business organizations and assumed a number of federal consultant positions with the U.S. Government. The collection consists of materials related to Weimer's academic and professional life, including correspondence, Indiana University course materials, writings, various awards and items of recognition, as well as items related to his involvement in professional organizations and federal committees.

The Weiner mss., 1886-1950, consist of correspondence, photographs, and papers by and relating to poet Francis Carco and gathered by Seymour S. Weiner.

Early 20th century opera librettos and complete/partial performance programs donated to the Cook Music Library by Cary Herz in 2006. Includes 42 librettos (some including pages from performance programs) and one full performance program from the Vienna Opera.

The Weismann mss., 1878-1881, consists of letters from German biologist August Weismann, 1834-1914, to French biologist Antoine Fortuné Marion, 1846-1900.

The Weissberger mss., 1938-1949, consists primarily of correspondence and legal papers pertaining to the financial affairs of Orson Welles, 1915-1985, and Mercury Theatre, Inc., as handled by Welles' personal attorney, L. Arnold Weissberger, 1907-1981.

The Weissbort mss., 1968-2005, consists of the papers, translations, correspondence, and notes of translator and poet Daniel Weissbort, 1935-2013.

The Weldon mss. III, 1983-1996, consists of the papers, writings, drafts, correspondence, corrected typescripts, and articles of British author and playwright, Fay Weldon, 1931- .

The Weldon mss., 1946-1989, consists of the papers of British author and playwright Fay Weldon, 1931- .

The Weldon mss. II, 1992, consists of the manuscript, art work, and book production materials for A Question of Timing by British author Fay Weldon, 1931- .
