The Sinclair mss., 1814-1968, consists of the correspondence, writings, and miscellaneous papers of author Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Crawford, H. mss., 1895-1978, consists primarily of the papers and memorabilia of businessman Hanford Crawford, 1854-1930, of St. Louis, Missouri.

The Corrigan mss., 1888-1941, consists of letters to publisher James William Corrigan, 1867?-1948, relating primarily to publishing matters in Great Britain and the United States.

Includes clippings and articles on the Sacco-Vanzetti case, other research materials for Boston, speeches, and interviews with Upton Sinclair.

The Carroll L. Lurding Library of College Fraternity and Sorority Materials mss., ca 1840-2014, consist of books, pamphlets, histories, yearbooks, and other bound volumes detailing the history of fraternities, sororities, colleges, and universities from all 50 states and the District of Columbia in the United States as well as some colleges in Canada.

The Latin American mss. Bolivia, 1606-1927, are illustrative chiefly of the colonial life of Alto Peru and of Bolivia's long struggle for independence from Spain.

The collection consists of a group of 28 hornbooks. Also included are two auction catalogs for sales where some of the hornbooks were sold and a description of a hornbook in brass from dealer Patrick King's list no. 11, 1986.

The Smith-Marsters mss., 1828-1905, are letters and papers of Hezekiah Smith, 1805-1879, Indiana Methodist circuit rider; his wife, Susan Davis (Marsters) Smith, 1819-1907; his wife's father, Stephen Marsters, 1795-1874, Methodist church elder; and members of their families.

The Stedman mss., 1863-1922, are the letters and writings used as extra-illustrations for the two volumes of Life and Letters of Edmund Clarence Stedman by Laura Stedman and George M. Gould, New York, Moffat, Yard and Company, 1910.

The Williams, W.C. mss. III, 1884-1995, consist of letters to poet William Carlos Williams, 1883-1963, and his wife, Florence (Herman) Williams, 1890-1976, from their son William Eric Williams, 1914-1995, most of which were written while William Eric was in the armed forces, and of letters to Florence Williams, or to Williams' publisher at New Directions Press, James Laughlin, 1914- , pertaining to requests for Williams material by editors and researchers. Also included are a number of condolence cards and letters sent after Williams' death.

This is a collection of several hundred ridiculous rhymes in imitation of known authors and their works. It includes parodies of Thomas Moore, Rudyard Kipling, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Edgar Allan Poe, Alfred Tennyson and William Shakespeare, among others.

The Whitman, Walt mss., 1864-1960, consist of correspondence, publications, and material about and related to Walt Whitman.

The McCulloch mss., 1766-1914, consist of letters and papers of Hugh McCulloch, 1808-1895, U.S. Comptroller of the Currency, Secretary of the Treasury, and a partner in the London banking house of Jay Cooke, McCulloch & Company.

The McDonald, A. H. mss., 1832-1907, consist of the papers of Archibald Henderson Spencer McDonald, 1836-1900, Civil War soldier and printer.

This collection consists of clippings and articles concerning Lew Wallace as well as posters, programs, advertisements, photographs, and brochures concerning the 1959 motion picture Ben Hur.

Consists of a collection formed by Professor Breon Mitchell of first and early editions of bi–lingual dictionaries of languages throughout the world, including the languages of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Pacific Rim.

The Corbacho/Pezet mss., circa 1853-1946, consists of manuscripts, correspondence, photos and related ephemeral material covering a variety of topics, with a significant emphasis on U.S.-Peruvian relations from 1853-1929, as well as important diplomatic letters relative to the War of the Pacific (1879-1884).

The Woodburn mss., 1795-1942, consist of letters and papers of four generations of the Woodburn family, James Woodburn, 1748-1812, farmer; Dorrance Beatty Woodburn, 1786- 1856, farmer and teacher; James Woodburn, 1817-1865, teacher; and James Albert Woodburn, 1856-1943, historian.

The Latin American mss.--Miscellaneous 1536-1957 consists of miscellaneous documents from various Latin American countries, compiled from the other Latin American mss., including correspondence, goverment documents, literature, photographs, and other documents.

The Colfax mss., 1853-1884, consists of the papers of South Bend, Indiana, newspaperman, speaker of the House of Representatives, and vice-president of the United States Schuyler Colfax, 1823-1885.

The Cookery mss., circa 1660–circa 1918, consists of bound and individual writings, often on the topic of cookery, of persons involved with cooking by practice or trade.

The Coster mss., 1877-1938, consists of letters to Lincoln collector Robert Coster, 1851?-1928, relating to Lincoln, and letters to his nephew Paul Coster, relating to Lincoln and to John Sherman.

The Sinclair mss. II, 1895-1961, consists of copies of correspondence of and other materials relating to novelist Upton Beall Sinclair, 1878-1968.

The Rossetti mss., 1817-1893, consist of the correspondence of poet Christina Georgina Rossetti, 1830- 1894, and her two brothers: painter, poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti, 1828-1882, and author, critic William Michael Rossetti, 1829-1919.
